The Legislative Council sitting time will be changing from 10.30 am to 2.30pm on Tuesdays with effect from 06 February 2024. The change, which is being trialed for up to six months, is taking place to reduce the occasions on which sittings of the Branches overlap. Where it is anticipated that tabled business will require a longer sitting the Council will revert to 10.30am start; this will be published on the Order Paper each week.

Sittings will still be held in public and fully livestreamed via “live and listen again” audio webcast service on the Tynwald website.
