The Tynwald Select Committee on Whistleblowing is reviewing the effectiveness of the Government's current whistleblowing policy and relevant legislation. In the course of its inquiry it has considered a number of other policies and processes in order to provide comparators for the Isle of Man Government policy. It has taken a particular interest in the support available to individuals who may be considering, or have raised a matter which would fall within the legal definition of whistleblowing

Mr Sutton, who has recently concluded legal proceedings with respect to a private sector matter, has agreed to come and talk to the Committee about his experience. The   oral evidence session will be held on Tuesday 30th July 2019 at 10.30am in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas. Members of the public are welcome to attend or to listen via the audio webcast service on the Tynwald website.

The Members elected to the Committee are Julie Edge MHK (Chair), Mrs Jane Poole-Wilson MLC and Mrs Kerry Sharpe MLC.
