The President of Tynwald is of the opinion that the question below is of an urgent character and relates to a matter of public importance. She has directed under Standing Order 3.5(4) that it may be asked for oral answer as the first question in the sitting of Tynwald Court which begins tomorrow at 10.30am.

The Hon. Member for Douglas North (Mr Henderson) to ask the Chief Minister –

"If he will make a statement on the position of Flybe services to the Isle of Man; what effects the withdrawal of Flybe from the Isle of Man will have on the Island and on Flybe’s Isle of Man based staff; and what steps the Government is taking as a consequence?"
