The Constitutional and Legal Affairs and Justice Committee, a Standing Committee of Tynwald, will be taking oral evidence on Friday 13th November 2020 at 10.30am in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas.

Evidence will be heard from Chief Secretary Will Greenhow, Home Affairs Minister Graham Cregeen MHK and CEO Dan Davies. The hearing will focus on the amalgamation of the roles of Minister for Justice and Minister for Home Affairs, as well as the establishment of a Council of Ministers sub-committee with responsibility for justice policy. These changes were announced by the Chief Minister in his State of the Nation address in Tynwald Court on 20th October 2020, a transcript of which can be viewed here.

The members of the Constitutional and Legal Affairs and Justice Committee appointed by Tynwald are Mrs Jane Poole-Wilson MLC (Chair), Mr Lawrie Hooper MHK and Mr Chris Robertshaw MHK.
