Family: Living with my husband, Chris, and two stepsons.
Career: From the age of 15 I worked within the nursing home sector, first as a kitchen porter and latterly as a healthcare assistant. This inspired me to go to university to study nursing. Post-qualifying as a registered nurse in 2005, I worked in Southampton General Hospital on the Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit. When the opportunity arose I applied for a job in Noble's Hospital as a staff nurse on the Intensive Care Unit and worked there from 2007 until 2015. I worked on the hospital bank from 2015-16 in various departments at Noble's Hospital, prior to my election as MHK for Douglas East in September 2016.
