Freedom of Information (FOI)
The Freedom of Information Act 2015 has been extended to all Government Departments and the Clerk of Tynwald's Office from 1st January 2017.
Isle of Man residents are now able to put in requests for information held by public authorities. A disclosure under FOI is deemed to be a disclosure to the world, increasing the amount of information available to Isle of Man citizens and paving the way to a more transparent Government.
