Freedom of Information (FOI)

The Freedom of Information Act 2015 has been extended to all Government Departments and the Clerk of Tynwald's Office from 1st January 2017.

Isle of Man residents are now able to put in requests for information held by public authorities. A disclosure under FOI is deemed to be a disclosure to the world, increasing the amount of information available to Isle of Man citizens and paving the way to a more transparent Government. Click the link to access responses to Freedom of Information requests

Your right to request a review


If you are unhappy with the response to your Freedom of Information request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response, by completing a complaint form and submitting it electronically or by delivery/post. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made as soon as practicable. We will respond as soon as the review has been concluded.
