Food matters: DEFA Minister and Isle of Man Meats to appear before Committee

The Environment and Infrastructure Policy Review Committee, a Standing Committee of Tynwald, will hear oral evidence on Friday 16th October 2020 on the topic of farming and food production. 

The following witnesses will appear at the times stated below:

10.30am Hon. Geoffrey Boot MHK, Minister for the Environment, Food, and Agriculture, Mr Richard Lole, Chief Executive of the Department

12 noon Hon. Tim Baker MHK, Chairman of Isle of Man Meats; Mr Andrew Lees, Non-Executive Director of Isle of Man Meats and Director of Agriculture and Lands, Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture; and Mr Phil Parsons, Meat Plant Director.

The evidence will be taken in public in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Douglas; members of the public are welcome to attend.  The evidence can also be heard via the “live and listen again” audio webcast service on the Tynwald website.
