HM Attorney General to appear before Committee

The Constitutional and Legal Affairs and Justice Committee, a Standing Committee of Tynwald, will be taking oral evidence on Tuesday 22nd September 2020 at 10.30am in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas.

Evidence will be heard from Mr John Quinn Esq QC, Her Majesty’s Attorney General for the Isle of Man, on the subject of the future recruitment and duties of his role. The Committee previously heard evidence on the current role of HM Attorney General in November 2019, the Hansard of which can be found on the Committee’s webpage here.

The members of the Constitutional and Legal Affairs and Justice Committee appointed by Tynwald are Mrs Jane Poole-Wilson MLC (Chair), Mr Lawrie Hooper MHK and Mr Chris Robertshaw MHK.
