The next public evidence session in the Tynwald Public Accounts Committee’s inquiry into the Media Development Fund will take place on Monday 16th December 2019 at 1pm.
The Committee have invited two film makers, connected with the Island, who will be able to share information and opinion on the international film and television sector; and observations of how the film and TV markets might have influenced the Isle of Man’s media fund in the past - and the opportunities moving forward:
Dave Armstrong, Director DAM Productions; film-maker and Arts Council member; co-founder of The Isle of Man Film Festival and the Mannin Shorts Film Training scheme.
Alistair Audsley, Founder of Solus; film producer and distribution executive
The evidence will be taken in public in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas. Members of the public are welcome to attend. The evidence can also be heard via the “live and listen again” audio webcast service on the Tynwald website.
