The Public Accounts Committee are inviting the public and organisations to submit ideas for questions to be asked at a post-budget oral evidence session to be held on Wednesday 11th April 2017 at 2.30pm.
The session will be held in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas. Evidence will be taken in public from Hon Alfred Cannan MHK, Treasury Minister and Mrs Shelia Lowe, Chief Financial Officer, Treasury.
Members of the public are welcome to attend, and the proceedings will also be streamed live via the Tynwald website.
The Chairman of the Committee, The Hon Juan Watterson SHK, comments, "This post-budget oral evidence session follows a similar session in 2017 and a more recent session where the 2016-17 Government Accounts were discussed with the Treasury Minister and Chief Financial Officer. Once again we would like to know what questions the public would like to have answers to. We can’t guarantee to ask all questions as received, it depends on how many submissions we have, but we are keen to understand what topics are of most interest."
Submissions should be sent to the Clerk of the Committee by 12.00 noon on 22nd March 2018.
