Harbours Strategy: Committee to hear evidence

​The Environment and Infrastructure Policy Review Committee, a Standing Committee of Tynwald, is investigating the Harbours Strategy.  The Committee will hear oral evidence from the following witnesses at the times and dates listed below:

30th January 2019

10am  Captain Stephen Carter, Laxey Towing Company Ltd

11am Mr Robin Bromley-Martin

25th February 2019

Please note that the time of the hearing has been changed from 10.30am to 11am.

11am    Minister for Infrastructure Hon Ray Harmer MHK, Chief Executive of the Department of Infrastructure Mr Nick Black, and Director of Ports Ms Ann Reynolds

The evidence will be taken in public in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas. Members of the public are welcome to attend or to listen via the audio webcast service on the Tynwald website.

The Committee was established by Tynwald in October 2016. The Members elected to the Committee are Mr Rob Callister MHK (Chair), Miss Clare Bettison MHK, and Mr Chris Robertshaw MHK.  Mr Callister has recused himself from this inquiry because he is a member of the Department for Enterprise, one of the sponsoring departments of the Harbours Strategy.  Mrs Marlene Maska MLC has been elected by Tynwald as an alternate member of the Committee for the duration of this inquiry.  The Committee has elected Mrs Maska as its Chair for this inquiry.
