Home Affairs Minister to appear before Committee

The Social Affairs Policy Review Committee, a Standing Committee of Tynwald, will be taking oral evidence on Wednesday 11th October 2017 at 14:30 in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas from the Minister of Home Affairs, Hon Bill Malarkey MHK and the Chief Executive of the Department of Home Affairs, Mr Mark Kelly.he Social Affairs Policy Review Committee, a Standing Committee of Tynwald, will be taking oral evidence on Wednesday 11th October 2017 at 14:30 in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas from the Minister of Home Affairs, Hon Bill Malarkey MHK and the Chief Executive of the Department of Home Affairs, Mr Mark Kelly.

This is an annual general oral evidence session at which a range of topics will be discussed. The last such session, which took place on 27th June 2016, can be read here.

The members of the Social Affairs Policy Review Committee appointed by Tynwald are Mr David Cretney MLC (Chair), Mr David Ashford MHK and Mr Martyn Perkins MHK.

The evidence will be taken in public; members of the public are welcome to attend. The evidence can also be heard via the “live and listen again” audio webcast service on the Tynwald website.
